ATLAS RENT -  INSURANCE COVER

 Rental rates includes
-   a basic insurance included in the basic hiring price,
-   an optional complement insurance (comprehensible & widespread basis insurance included- or free of accidental damage excess). 
This optional guarantee increases the rental price

BASIC INSURANCE

Insurance contracts covers the civil liability  (car insurance compulsory). The persons mentioned on the first page of the hiring contact benefit from the guarantee. The hirer accepts the terms and conditions of the contract, including all eventual territory limits.
This contract is at your disposal at the renter out offices.

In case of accident, the hirers must :
- inform the police immediately if there are wounded persons,
- write an accident report form mentioning clearly how the accident happened, even if there is only material damage, and this is to be countersigned by all parties.
Failing this, the hirers will lose the benefits of the insurance cover.
If this declaration is not given to the renter out, when returning the vehicle or at the latest 15 days after receiving a letter from the renter out asking the hirer to produce it, the hirer will lose the benefit of the insurance cover and will have to pay, for each accident, a minimum fee representing the franchise fee (accidental damage excess).

Notwithstanding all contrary clauses, all damages to the vehicle are fully supported by the hirer if they are the result of:
-   a violation of the road code such as : non respect of red traffic light, driving on the left hand side of the road, non respect of a one way street….
-   drover's negligencer, bad parking, general bad utilisation of the vehicle, or for example all damages under the vehicle;

 CONDUCTOR PROFILE

-only one conductor : the one mentioned on the contract;
-   Minimum age : 21 with driving licence of more than 2 years (A/B/C);
-   For vehicles above categories A/B/C : minimum age of 23 with driving licence of more than 3 years

 The driving licence must be shown upon signature of contract.

 

 OTHER GUARANTEES (assistance)


Some of our cars provide a MONDIAL ASSISTANCE guarantee for their vehicles of less than 1 year age. 
This guarantee covers, in case of failure or accident :
- repair or tow if necessary to the nearest garage, this allows you
         1. to continue your trip or return to your place of residence
         2. hotel fees as mentioned in the contract,
         3. to get the car back
